Hanging paper lanterns create a unique and glorious effect, filling the ceiling with floating balls of colour. They can be used to create a stunning look in marquees, barns, or more unusual venues, and produce a fantastic, magical atmosphere that will be long remembered.

Our lanterns come in a range of sizes: 12, 16, and 20 inches. They can be hung in lots of different ways, including using a range of sizes, heights and colours if you desire.
They can be made even more magical using our battery operated LED button lights inside to make them glow softly at night.

Previous clients have loved using hanging lanterns to help create traditional romantic white wedding displays, rainbow festival-style clouds of light, sophisticated mixtures of white and one other colour, and pastel colours to perfectly complement a vintage theme. We also have a range of lanterns that can be used outside, for example suspended from trees and vines at summer parties and proms.
Every hanging lantern installation is unique, depending on room size, ceiling height, fixing points etc, meaning there are no fixed prices. However, to give a rough guide, our rates for hire and installations start from £199+VAT.

In practical terms, our experienced team will use very fine clear fishing line to hang your lanterns securely and sensitively to your venue’s ceiling, using cross lines to suspend lanterns at the heights you require. This fine line is almost invisible once in position, so your beautiful lanterns will appear to float by themselves.
The lanterns we supply are made of paper held rigid with a wire insert, and all comply with latest British safety standards.
